About BNY Code Divas Challenge 2025
The BNY Code Divas Challenge is back with its 5th edition, offering talented women engineers a platform to showcase their skills in programming and software development. This challenge is designed to help participants gain recognition, win exciting prizes, and even secure tech internships and full-time job opportunities at BNY Technology, India.
Who Can Participate?
✔ Graduation batches of 2025, 2026, or 2027
✔ Passionate about coding and problem-solving
✔ Must pass each round to qualify for the next
🚨 Note: Participants flagged for plagiarism will be disqualified.
Challenge Format
Round 1: The Passionate Programmer
💻 Solve three coding questions within 2.5 hours using any preferred programming language.
📢 After Round 1, participants can engage in a Tech-It-Out session with BNY employees and leaders.
Round 2: The 10X Engineer
🚀 This round tests core software engineering skills with:
✅ 10 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
✅ 1 Programming Question (Java 8+ or Python)
✅ 1 SQL Question
🔹 Round 2 is by invitation only
🔹 Participants need a webcam-enabled device for both rounds

Responsibilities:
✔ Work with business analysts to develop new features
✔ Build microservices for business automation
✔ Debug and fix complex issues
✔ Collaborate with a global scrum team
Required Skills:
🔹 Knowledge of Java, C/C++, Python, Ruby, Golang, or JavaScript
🔹 Familiarity with Spring, Gin, RoR, Angular, React.js is a plus
🔹 Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS & Azure
🔹 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
