Job Overview

Flywire is looking for a Software Engineer I – Integrations to contribute to the development and optimization of its global payments platform. This role involves working on API integrations that connect Flywire with financial institutions, payment providers, and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain API integrations for seamless data exchange between Flywire and external platforms.
  • Work closely with product managers, senior engineers, and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring system reliability and data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on API development and integrations.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party API integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and writing efficient queries.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document technical solutions effectively.
