About the Role

Philips is looking for a Software Engineer I to work on Imaging Clinical Applications and Platform (ICAP)—a cutting-edge solution that enhances medical imaging and patient care. This role focuses on advanced visualization solutions within IntelliSpace Portal, a powerful cloud-based imaging review and analysis platform.

This position is based in Bangalore and involves working with a team responsible for end-to-end development—from clinical definition to architecture, development, and validation.


Key Responsibilities

🔍 Testing & Verification

  • Perform verification for the Advanced Visualization Workflow (AVW) suite of applications.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation to support functional and performance testing.
  • Ensure thorough impact analysis and collaborate with stakeholders for effective verification planning.
  • Define, establish, and maintain test environments for verification processes.

🤝 Collaboration & Development

  • Work closely with senior technical and development teams for release planning.
  • Provide technical reviews and coordinate cross-functional support for verification activities.
  • Support field deployment scenarios, upgrades, and installations to enhance usability.

Required Skills & Competencies

📌 Technical Skills

  • Medical Imaging Knowledge – Strong understanding of CT/MR modalities and clinical use cases.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance – Experience in verification strategy, quality processes, and test lifecycle methodologies.
  • Industry Standards – Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards is a plus.
  • Test Management Tools – Familiarity with MTM, ALM or similar tools.
