The Jr. Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities
1️⃣ Test Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to validate software functionality.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards.
2️⃣ Automation Testing
- Create and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium WebDriver & Cucumber.
- Use test automation frameworks to detect defects early in the development cycle.
3️⃣ Collaboration & Analysis
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and develop acceptance criteria.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute to user experience improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
4️⃣ Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with technology trends and suggest improvements in testing methodologies.
- Contribute to the organization’s technology communities to drive innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Technical Skills:
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver & Cucumber.
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) using Gherkin.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
✅ Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
- Experience in the Banking Domain.
- Knowledge of Flexcube.
✅ Non-Technical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments.
