Job Overview
This role is part of the team responsible for developing GlobalFoundries’ cloud-based Design-to-Product (D2P) environment. The position requires expertise in AWS development and infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using AWS services.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment.
- Monitor and optimize cloud application performance.
- Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud computing and AWS technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS.
- Strong background in developing web-based and cloud-native applications.
- Experience in monitoring AWS infrastructure using tools like CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Developer or an equivalent certification.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in the semiconductor domain (foundry) is a plus.
