Overview
Merative, a leading provider of data, analytics, and software solutions for the healthcare industry, is looking for a Data Engineer to contribute to improving health outcomes. This role is open for remote work and available in Chennai and Bengaluru locations.
Job Responsibilities
1. Data Management
- Work with client-supplied data and internal tools to assess data quality.
- Process and update databases as per client specifications.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues while following departmental guidelines.
- Design, maintain, execute, and document system tests and requirement validation tests.
- Develop and implement scalable and efficient data models to meet business needs.
- Support user acceptance testing when required.
2. Client Support
- Help clients understand data specifications and address data quality concerns.
- Ensure timely delivery of usable databases that meet client expectations for content and quality.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices.
- Implement data governance policies to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
3. Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and architecture best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with VB Macro and other automation techniques.
- Knowledge of the US healthcare system.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Kyvos.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 0 – 1 year of relevant experience in data management, ETL, and database development.
- Freshers with internship experience in Data Engineering are also encouraged to apply.
