About the Role
As a React Developer Intern, the role involves developing and maintaining web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. A key focus will be on writing unit tests, improving code quality, and ensuring smooth performance of applications. The internship is offered by Airbus India Private Limited.
Key Responsibilities
1. Web Application Development
- Develop and maintain React applications using TypeScript.
- Implement modern UI components for a smooth user experience.
- Work with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
2. Unit Testing & Code Quality
- Write unit tests for React components using Jest, Vitest, or Mocha.
- Ensure test coverage for critical parts of the code.
- Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and best coding practices.
3. Code Optimization & Performance
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with the QA team for integration and end-to-end testing.
4. Collaboration & Troubleshooting
- Work with backend developers to integrate and test APIs (RESTful & GraphQL).
- Debug production issues and resolve problems using unit tests.
- Stay updated with new trends and frameworks in React development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✔️ React.js & TypeScript expertise.
✔️ Experience with unit testing using Jest, Vitest, or Mocha.
✔️ Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
✔️ Understanding of frontend state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).
✔️ Experience with Git & version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
✔️ Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
✔️ Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Understanding of responsive web design & accessibility (a11y) standards.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points!)
⭐ Experience with Next.js (Server-Side Rendering – SSR).
