About the Opportunity
New Relic is looking for a recent graduate to start their career as an Associate Software Engineer – Backend. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in Observability, develop innovative software solutions, and build frameworks from scratch. Key Responsibilities
1. Learn and Grow
- Gain expertise in software development processes, systems, and tools.
- Receive training and mentorship to build a strong foundation in backend development.
2. Work with Observability
- Get hands-on experience with Observability, a cutting-edge field that ensures seamless digital experiences.
- Contribute to building tools and platforms that enhance system performance and reliability.
3. Develop Backend Systems
- Design and build backend frameworks and platforms from the ground up.

4. Collaborate and Communicate

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT).
- Graduation must be within the past 12 months.
2. Academic Performance
- A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 7 or higher.
3. Relevant Experience
- At least 6 months of experience through internships, co-op programs, or work in software development.
4. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript (ReactJS), or GoLang.
- Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS), Observability, or Cloud Databases is a plus.
