About the Role
We are looking for a JavaScript SDK Developer with expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and Kotlin for JS to enhance the design, performance, and quality of our JavaScript SDK. This role involves working on complex applications and APIs, ensuring a seamless user experience for various airline clients.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Objectives
- Develop JavaScript APIs and Audio/Video players for airline clients.
- Work closely with other SDK developers to create end-to-end solutions.
- Rapidly prototype new concepts and ideas.
- Follow agile methodologies and best coding practices.
- Research and implement new web and mobile technologies to improve APIs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Write, modify, and debug JavaScript APIs using JavaScript, HTML, and Kotlin for JS.
- Develop automated test scripts, manage continuous builds, and deploy applications.
- Enhance existing features, introduce new functionalities, and resolve issues.
- Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Create API documentation and conduct peer reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- 0 to 4 years of experience in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, or Node.js.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Strong debugging and code optimization skills.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with single-page applications (SPA) using modern frameworks.
- Experience in unit and integration testing.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with media players like HLS, HTML5, and Shaka Player.
- Knowledge of Linux platforms and shell scripting.
- Understanding of different media file types.
- Experience in Kotlin for JS.
- Ability to create APIs and documentation.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MS preferred).
