π§βπ» Role: Graduate Software Engineer
Archipelago is looking for a fresh graduate who is passionate about coding and eager to learn. This role is perfect for someone who wants to start their career in software development in a collaborative and supportive environment.
π Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers and cross-functional teams to build and maintain software applications.
- Write clean and well-documented code using best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and learn from experienced engineers.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
- Test applications and make sure they meet quality standards.
- Contribute ideas to improve software development processes and tools.
π Key Performance Goals
- Participate in at least 3 code reviews each month to improve coding standards.
- Complete and submit at least 20 pull requests during the internship.
- Learn and use version control (Git) with at least 90% success rate in completing tasks.
- Successfully finish 3 or more small to medium tasks or bug fixes in each iteration.
- Conduct 2 knowledge-sharing sessions or create documentation on technical topics.
π Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Good understanding of programming basics (data structures, algorithms, OOP).
- Familiarity with at least one language (Java, Python, or Golang).
- Understanding of software development processes like Agile/Scrum.
- Basic experience with databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
π‘ Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Internship or academic project in software development.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Awareness of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) or automated testing.
