About the Role
Infor is looking for Associate Software Engineers with up to 2 years of development experience. This is an entry-level role where fresh graduates and early professionals can build their careers in software development. The job focuses on application development, enhancement, and maintenance using modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Software Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Developing and enhancing application features
- Writing clear and well-documented code
- Creating unit test cases to ensure code quality
- Working with leads to understand design requirements
- Supporting existing application components
- Running performance tests and optimizing code
- Debugging and resolving software bugs
- Collaborating with global teams for better execution
- Assisting support teams in issue diagnosis and resolution
Required Skills
To do well in this job, you should have:
- Hands-on experience with .NET (C#, ASP.Net, .NET Core) and SQL Server
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular or React (good to have)
- Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS (added advantage)
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (optional, but beneficial)
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Good problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work with cross-functional teams in different locations
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Programming Languages: C#, ASP.Net, .NET Core, SQL, PostgreSQL
- Front-End: Angular, React, JQuery
- Web Services: WCF, XML, XSLT
- Version Control Tools: Git, SVN, VSS
- Familiarity with design patterns and debugging techniques
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline like Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
