About the Role

Equifax is looking for entry-level software engineers to work on innovative projects in Pune, India. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals with 6+ months of experience in software development. The role involves working with Java, cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure), microservices, and UI development.

Responsibilities

  • Apply basic software engineering principles and follow coding best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and release processes.
  • Work with modern software development practices like serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Integrate software systems with corporate product platforms.
  • Contribute to the technology roadmap and architecture discussions.
  • Collaborate with an agile development team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ months of hands-on experience in Java programming.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with UI development using HTML, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap.

  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, XP).
