About the Role: Business Operations Analyst
Cartwheel is looking for a Business Operations Analyst to optimize processes and drive efficiency. This position is remote, with a strong preference for candidates who can work hybrid from Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will take ownership of critical business functions, identify areas for improvement, and support cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

- Reports To: Business Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
First 30 Days:
- Learn Cartwheel’s operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gain proficiency in essential tools such as Cartwheel Portal, Apero, Healthie, QuickBooks, Asana, Slack, and Google Suite.
- Prioritize high-impact areas to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Build relationships with team members across various departments.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Manage key business operations projects, including:
- Enhancing school district invoicing.
- Improving patient intake and scheduling.
- Reducing administrative burden for clinicians.
- Developing dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Identify inefficiencies, test solutions, and iterate on processes to support rapid growth.
- Support strategic initiatives like new service lines, partnerships, and state expansions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Clinical Care, and School Success teams to improve quality and performance.
Who Should Apply?
Qualifications & Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in management consulting or strategic operations in a healthcare startup.
- Strong data analysis skills (experience with SQL and Looker is a plus).
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and work with teams using Asana and other project management tools.
- Passionate about improving mental health care access for students and families.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year.
