Job Overview
A Business Analyst position is available in Pune for candidates with 0-2.5 years of experience. This role requires working with hardware, software, and network support, along with customer interaction to diagnose and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate should have a B-Tech qualification and a good understanding of MS Exchange and other IT service management tools.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Support and Problem Resolution
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues via telephone, email, or chat.
- Provide Level 1 remote desktop support based on standard operating procedures.
- Use Incident Management Systems to document, manage, and track issues until resolution.
- Troubleshoot client software and basic network connectivity problems.
User Account and System Management
- Administer user account provisioning and maintain system records.
- Manage Active Directory, Exchange Mailboxes, and Distribution Lists.
- Support VPN and remote access users.
- Assist in PC-based software setup for applications like MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and internet browsers.
Coordination and Documentation
- Route issues to the appropriate IT support levels (2nd and 3rd level).
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
- Provide technical documentation, configurations, and diagrams.
- Participate in training programs and knowledge-sharing activities.
Technical Skills Required
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, and Windows Server versions 2000, 2003, 2008).
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange 2003/2007.
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing tools (e.g., Remedy, HP Service Center, Peregrine Service Center).
- Knowledge of remote desktop connectivity applications (e.g., SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio).
- Understanding of VPN, internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer), and remote dial-in user support.
- Experience with laptop, desktop, and printer support.
