About the Role
This is a great opportunity for freshers or early-career frontend developers who are passionate about building user-friendly and modern web interfaces. As a Software Engineer I, you’ll be working with the Benchmark team on an innovative design system that improves the user experience and helps both designers and developers build features more efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- 🎨 Help build and maintain a robust design system used across Benchmark products
- 🤝 Work closely with designers and developers to ensure seamless collaboration
- 🧩 Develop scalable, high-quality frontend solutions
- 💬 Act as a supportive team member by sharing knowledge and feedback
- 📚 Learn and discuss frontend best practices with teammates
- 🔍 Write clean, testable code with good documentation
Skills and Experience Required
- 💻 Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- 🌐 Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular
- 🔧 Understanding of Web APIs and how the web stack works
- 🧪 Able to write testable code with unit and integration tests
- 🎨 Skilled in HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks
- 🧠 Attention to detail and familiarity with UI/UX patterns
- 🗣️ Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
Good to Have
- 🧑💻 Experience with CSS pre-processors
- 👀 Familiarity with building and debugging complex systems in teams
- 📈 Ability to create accessible and high-performance web interfaces
- 🤹 Adaptability and a mindset for continuous learning
