About the Role

This role is ideal for experienced professionals who can lead test automation efforts in a Data Transformation/ETL program while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in data processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves handling test automation strategies, execution, team collaboration, and quality assurance. The major responsibilities include:
✔ Developing Automation Strategies:
- Create and implement automation frameworks for data testing.
- Identify areas for automation and optimize testing processes.
✔ Test Execution & Monitoring:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for ETL processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback.
- Analyze test results and suggest improvements.
✔ Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with test management, developers, and analysts.
- Align automation efforts with business goals.
- Mentor team members in best automation practices.
✔ Quality Assurance & Reporting:
- Monitor test automation effectiveness.
- Provide reports on test coverage, defect detection rates, and automation performance.
Qualifications & Skills Required
🔹 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
🔹 Experience: Strong background in ETL test automation and data validation.
🔹 Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Understanding of cloud-based data warehousing (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications preferred.
