Key Responsibilities
1. Data Engineering
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Use Python and SQL to design and implement scalable data processing solutions.
- Ensure data quality and consistency throughout data transformation and storage.
- Work with data architects and senior engineers to meet technical and business needs.
2. Cloud Technologies
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data deployment and maintenance.
- Assist in migrating data infrastructure from on-premises to cloud when needed.
- Support the implementation of cloud-based data storage solutions like data lakes and data warehouses.
3. Data Visualization
- Provide structured data for business stakeholders to create meaningful visualizations.
- Work with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with analysts to ensure data is structured efficiently for reporting needs.
4. Collaboration and Support
- Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to support analytics initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues to ensure timely data delivery.
- Document processes, data flows, and infrastructure for internal knowledge-sharing.
Required Skills and Experience
- 0+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight.
- Basic understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
