Responsibilities
As an RSA Software Engineer – Apprentice, your main tasks will include:
1. Software Development & SDLC Understanding
- Learning the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working on real-world software projects.
- Assisting in design, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
2. Working with Programming & Cloud Technologies
- Developing applications using Java and scripting languages.
- Gaining conceptual knowledge of cloud computing and how it applies to identity security.
3. Cybersecurity & Networking Knowledge
- Understanding networking principles and how they relate to cybersecurity.
- Learning about identity and access management solutions used by global enterprises.
4. Database & Operating Systems (OS) Knowledge
- Working with databases and operating systems relevant to modern application development.
5. Effective Communication & Team Collaboration
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to security-driven software solutions.
- Developing interpersonal communication skills to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
